Welcome

On behalf of the members of the Iconic Iota Omicron Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., welcome and thank you for taking the time to our website! It is my honor to serve as Basileus for the next two years. 

For more than two decades, this chapter has proudly served West Columbia and the surrounding communities through sisterhood, leadership, and service. We remain committed to making a meaningful impact through our local endeavors like establishing the Mildred Weathers McDuffie Scholarship, recognizing and honoring impressive educators, mental health providers, therapists, and others during the biennial Ladies of Distinction Tea, mentoring young girls in schools and through our affiliates Rhosebuds and Rhoer Clubs, promoting women's health and wellness, and advocating for issues that strengthen our communities, leading the charge in the state of South Carolina for water safety and teaching community members how to swim through our annual Swim1922 event, and nationalinitiatives such as Operation BigBookBag, the Sigma Youth Symposium, and supporting the March of Dimes and St. Jude.
